Privacy Policy

PuzzleGames.ai is a small puzzle site. We collect only what we need to run it, we don't sell your information, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you create an account, so you can sign in and so we can reply if you contact us.
- Your puzzle history: which puzzles you opened, whether you solved them, how long they took and how many hints you used. We use this to show your history and to make sure you never get the same puzzle twice.
- Questions you ask the coach, together with the state of the puzzle you're working on, so the coach can answer.
- Messages you send us through Contact us, including any Puzzle ID you report.
- Your plan and billing status if you subscribe. Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical information that any website receives, such as your browser type and the date you visited, kept in our hosting provider's logs. We record one "visited today" mark per signed-in account per day so we can count active players.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies during the early preview. We use a small number of cookies that keep you signed in.
Who helps us run the site
We share information only with the companies that run parts of the site for us, and only what each one needs:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Supabase stores accounts and puzzle history.
- Stripe handles subscriptions and payments.
- Anthropic provides the AI behind the coach. It receives your coach questions and the puzzle state, not your email address.
- Resend sends our emails, such as sign-in links.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We don't sell or share your personal information
We don't sell your personal information and don't share it for targeted advertising. If we ever add advertising, we'll update this page first and give you a way to opt out where the law provides one.
Children
Accounts are for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it. Anyone can play the daily puzzles without an account.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account and history while your account is open. To delete your account and puzzle history, email us from the address on your account and we'll do it within 30 days. We may keep billing records for as long as tax law requires.
Security
Information travels over encrypted connections, and each player can see only their own history. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll tell account holders by email or on the site.
